*Threat Recognition:
Recognizing threats before they materialize so you do not get caught behind the power curve. Darkness, architecture and strangers approaching are covered. This section introduces the SureFire combat light (white light weapon).
*Distance and Movement:
How to methodically position yourself in a fight/assault situation to avoid and land attacks and make an escape.
*Attack:
What to hit and HOW to hit it. How to cause PAIN! This section covers “objectifying” your opponent as well as “ways of attack”.
*Straight Blast:
How to close the gap with an opponent and shut down his attack. How to breach the “critical distance” into Close Quarter Combat.
*Close Quarter Combat:
Learn how to operate where most people have no idea how to respond, close quarters. This is where you can land “fight ending blows” in rapid fire.
*Fight Psychology:
Dealing with the fear and anxiety of fighting. You will not get rid of fear. Fear is a good thing. Fear prepares your body for violent activity. It’s “cowardice” we want to avoid. Fear is transformed into “Psychological Ammunition”.
*Other tactical considerations:
An overview of other areas that must be trained including firearms, bladed weapons, OC spray, impact weapons, improvised projectiles, counter knife, clinch and ground fighting.
