The courses have a strong academic background and a layer of practical exercises. They help participants build sound and strong software testing skills, from deeply understanding and using fundamental testing skills to bug investigation and advocacy and skills to design tests:
BBST® Foundations,
BBST® Bug Advocacy and
BBST® Test Design.
BBST® Foundations is the first step in this learning experience and it’s mandatory before going to the next levels: Bug Advocacy and Test Design.
The content of the courses has been created by Cem Kaner, a professor at the Florida Institute of Technology. The courses are grounded in a solid academic background and are backed by practical exercises designed to put the concepts and approaches learned into practice.
The courses are delivered online. Each one consists of 3 weeks of classes and 1 week dedicated to the exam. The schedule is flexible, the courses being structured so as to not interfere with other projects students may be engaged in. Going over the lessons and completing the assignments takes up approximately 15 hrs/week.
The students who successfully complete the courses will receive a certificate signed by the instructors.
