We designed this cloud certification training for anyone seeking to learn how to deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on Amazon Web Services. By the end of the course, you’ll be prepared to pass the associate level AWS Certified SysOps Administrator exam.
We’ll explore some of the more advanced features of the AWS platform needed to operate and maintain systems. We recommend taking this course after completing the AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer course. Both of those courses are available on A Cloud Guru and start with an overview of the AWS platform.
In this course we will begin with CloudWatch, which is the main monitoring solution in AWS. We’ll explore different CloudWatch metrics and learn how to monitor the different AWS services including EC2, EBS, RDS, and ELB. We’ll then cover High Availability and learn how to build highly resilient and fault tolerant architectures in the cloud. Not only will we cover the fundamentals of operating AWS services, we will also deep dive into deployment and provisioning, data management, AWS OpsWorks, security, and networking.
We know that you’re busy, so our training course is made up of 5-20 minute videos that can be viewed at your convenience. Our video lessons keep-it-simple and explain things clearly and succinctly. Together we’ll walk you through each of the major operational areas of Amazon Web Services, step by step. Using real life examples, we will practice how to operate and maintain systems running on AWS. At the end of each section, we’ll also test your knowledge with short quizzes to make sure you’ll be ready for the exam.
