Eight of Britain’s top dealers take turns to wait in four separate rooms, each ready to spend their personal fortunes on the enticing objects that come through their door. From memorabilia to taxidermy and from art to antiques, sellers must calculate when to sell their item for the best profit, and when to walk out on an offer. The one golden rule is that once an offer has been turned down, the seller can never return to that room; the deal has gone forever. In this episode dealers Jeff Salmon, Wendy Meakin, Raj Bisram and Peter Ratcliffe vie for Andy Murray’s tennis racket, a piece of Admiral Nelson’s ship HMS Victory, artworks by Lucian Freud and Francis Bacon, and cutting-edge jet furniture that fires up all the dealers’ interest.
