In this course, you’ll learn the JavaScript programming language—from absolute beginner to advanced—in no time at all! This course is aimed at the absolute beginner; you don’t need any coding experience at all! We start out by setting up, downloading, and installing the Sublime Text Editor—for free. That’s the only tool you’ll need to start writing and running JavaScript code.
Then, we delve into very basic computer science concepts, such as:
· Printing to the screen
· Variables
· Numbers and simple math
· Comparison operators
· Assignment operators
After that, we’ll move on to more intermediate topics such as:
· Conditional if/else statements
· While Loops
· For loops
· Fizzbuzz
Finally, we’ll finish up with more advanced topics such as:
· Arrays
· Objects
· Functions
After that, we’ll master web development topics such as:
· Pop-ups
· Web forms
Toward the end of the course, you’ll put everything you’ve learned together and built a fun little math flashcard web app. You’ll be surprised at how quick and easy this is! JavaScript is one of the greatest programming languages, and learning it has never been this easy! We’ll see you on the course!
