The final episode of Keith Barry: Brain Hacker saw the world-renowned mentalist rushed out of studio when his body went into shock and his heart stopped after a terrifying stunt involving an ice coffin.
Speaking about the high risk stunt, Keith said: “I was shaking so much from, I guess, hypothermia and shock so everybody was just trying to talk to me to make sure I knew where I was which I didn’t really know exactly where I was in that moment in time.
It took 30 minutes for Keith to regain his senses but his body temperature took several hours to regulate. He began to feel unwell later that evening and continued to be violently ill for almost three weeks, vomiting multiple times every day.
Speaking about how he felt in the glass coffin, Keith said:“The first thing that hits you is just the pain down your back and the back of your legs. After that, came the back spasms which were very, very difficult to deal with on the day as well. Then after that the shaking comes and your mind starts to wander. It starts to go to different places and you’re not really sure where you are and then comes the shock so they’re kind of the phases you go through.
Keith has vowed never to perform that stunt again, not even when Brain Hacker goes on the road next
