I ripped these the best I could from 11-year old video tapes (1999). Unlike Panther, WMA vides hold up pretty well with age, all things considered. I also tried to keep the quality-to-size ratio in mind.
These are ripped for use on IPODs, PSPs, and other hand-helds and smartphones that support H.264/mp4 playback (easy to take with you to train, etc). They still look pretty good played full screen on a TV using a WDTV multi-media player. One day I might seed larger, higher quality rips, just don’t hold your breath.
