Gianni is an Italian Software Architect, Developer and Trainer in BEPS Engineering (Microsoft Embedded Gold Partner) since 2007 and graduated at the Polytechnic of Turin in 2009 (MSc Information Technology Engineer). Microsoft Windows Embedded MVP, in 2011 he won the second prize at the international hobbyist competition Microsoft Embedded Spark. He is MCSD in “Windows Store Apps using C#” and “Web Applications”, Microsoft Specialist in “Programming in C#” and “Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3” and MCTS in “Windows Embedded CE 6.0”, “Windows Mobile 6.5”, “Windows Embedded Standard 7” and “.NET Framework 4 Applications”. Currently, he is also focused on Windows Store/Windows Phone apps development and the cloud, with a number of projects with Windows Azure, Silverlight, ASP.NET MVC and Web API. Gianni is a trainer for Windows Embedded CE 6.0, Windows Embedded Standard 7 and the new Windows Embedded 8 Standard. In addition to official Microsoft courses, he is involved in academic and research activities: student internships and degree thesis projects tutoring; support, courses and seminars about Windows Embedded for engineering schools and Polytechnic of Turin. He is an active member of the local Microsoft technologies community: TTG – Torino Technologies Group.
