It’s taken a while but we’re starting to see this shift in the SharePoint development space as well. To support developers who want to do more on the client-side and to make it possible to build interesting applications using the SharePoint 2013 App Model, Microsoft has made significant enhancements to both the Client Object Model (CSOM) and the REST API. This course covers the fundamental use of these APIs, discusses how they have evolved in SharePoint 2013, and highlights many of the their new features.
