Ian Goode is owner and chief retoucher at Gigantic Squid: a creative production studio specializing in retouching and CGI. Ian started his career in advertising over 10 years ago, transforming a painting degree into retouching and digital illustration. From cars and products to portraiture and landscapes, Ian has established himself as one of the field’s top composite artists and has been lucky enough to touch some of the world’s top brands, including Audi, Volkswagen, Sony, Microsoft, and Starbucks.

Just in time for Halloween, master compositor Ian Goode will recreate this real-life job assignment he received. Watch Ian’s screen live as he works, and ask your questions about what he’s doing or compositing in general.

From Ian:
“This will be a composite and effects show, showing how to bring elements together that are shot in similar ways and then how to apply effects to give it professional and high-end look touches. We might even play around a bit and push it further than the final image (above), depending on audience feedback.”

After Ian is finished with his presentation, he will answer more general questions on a time available basis.
