I was asked by some students to spend some time covering the basics of Linux so that it can be used for IT Security tasks. This will be a 1 day ONLINE workshop for $25.
Linux For InfoSec Professionals
In the morning I will be covering:
Getting started with Linux
Linux file system and basic commands
Log parsing & malware analysis
In the afternoon I will be covering:
Nmap NSE Scripting (using and writing your own NSE scripts)
Scapy (using and writing your own scapy scanning scripts)
Metasploit auxilliary and post modules
Schedule
This class will be held live online on June 13th from 8am EST to 4pm EST.
Video
The class will be recorded and made available to the students via email. So you can keep up with the class even if you have to miss time, or even a whole day.
