In this session we’ll look at overlapping action and then how to get weight and finally the moving hold. Now, what is overlapping action? Overlapping action is when things move in parts – everything does not happen at the same time. One damn thing follows another. If I sit down, my bum lands first, I then lean back, then I cross my legs, then I brush my hairs. One part started first and the others followed. That is overlapping action. Now, if I choose to shake my head, I’m in control of my head action, but I’m not in control of my jowls and I’m not in control of my hair. One part started first and the loose parts followed.
