Course description

The training is designed for very beginners. The language used is simple and blunt. The issues are illustrated with hundreds of examples: photos, infographics, video breakthroughs. The pace of the course is very slow at the beginning, to accelerate a bit in the middle and definitely increase at the end.

The course consists of short lectures interspersed with exercises on basic topics. The last two lessons are extended instruction, rich in educational resources, where I show how to take a good portrait and landscape.

What kind of camera do I need?

For the most effective learning in the course, you should have a camera with PASM shooting modes. These modes are located most often on the camera body dial or in the menu. If you can’t find them, look at the camera’s technical specifications (equipment parameters table) in the manual or ask the dealer from whom the equipment was purchased. The model and brand of the camera does not matter. What matters is the ability to set the camera’s parameters manually or semi-automatically.

What first: buying a camera or a course?

If you buy a camera, then you can learn on a course on your own equipment. If you decide to buy the course first, the camera purchase will certainly be more deliberate. In addition to these issues, consider the size of the expenditure. Buying a course is an expense of about a dozen dollars. For a basic camera, you need to spend 50 times as much, or several hundred dollars. This means that by investing about 2% of the value of the camera, you will better allocate a significant amount of money and the purchase will be more successful.
